Double comparatives/Repeated comparatives are commonly used in English to describe actions and things that are changing continuously, that are increasing or decreasing.

In order to say that something is increasing, we can apply two structures: * adjective + -er and adjective + -er * more and more + adjective

Long adjectives: more and more + adjective more and more expensive
