~Plot~

While escaping her home from armed conflict, a young Alma Madrigal loses her husband Pedro but saves her triplet infant children Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno. The candle Alma carries with her becomes magical and creates a magical house, the "Casita", for the Madrigals to live in. Years later a village grows, protected by the Casita, and members of the Madrigal family are gifted superhuman abilities they use to help the villagers. However, Bruno's gift of seeing the future causes multiple conflicts that lead to the family and the town to think that Bruno’s visions were evil and that he should never be nominated after he disappeared, while Mirabel, Julieta's youngest daughter, is treated differently for having no gift at all.

Pedro Alma's deceased husband, he was a kind and caring person. He sacrificed himself to save Alma's life

Alma Madrigal(Abuela) Abuela is a cold, controlling and selfish woman.

Julieta she has the power of healing people with her food she's a sweet, caring person

Bruno he can see the future due to his powers of seeing the future, he was labeled as someone who ''made bad things happen''. Bruno is kind-hearted, caring, fairly comical, and possesses a strong love and loyalty towards his family.

Pepa she has the power of controlling the weather by her mood,she's drammatic and she gets emotional very easily

Pepa and Julieta's husbands

Agustín Agustín is Julieta's husband, he's a kind and bubbly man who really cares about his family

Felix Felix is Pepa's husband, he's an energetic and fun-loving person

Pepa's children

Antonio he can talk to animals, he's a shy and sweet boy with a heart of gold

Camilo he has the ability to shapeshift, he is a caring, extroverted and funny teenager

Dolores she has super hearing, she's very quiet and squeeks very often

Julieta's children

Isabela She can grow plants/flowers she fakes to be happy and tries to be perfect, Isa and Mirabel hate eachother

Mirabel Protagonist of the story. She has no gift, and for this she is always left out, she is a positive person who always looks out for the family

Luisa she has super strenght, she's hardworking, girly and very sensitive

What's happening?

In the first scene (song) it's the introduction of the family and their powers In the second scene, Mirabel tries to find what's happening to the miracle after she saw cracks in Casita, the day after she tried asking ''Dolores'' for suggestions, only to find out that ''Dolores'' was actually Camilo trying to get seconds, Dolores heard everything and told Mirabel that she is worrying about the magic too much In the third scene (song) Mirabel finds bruno's vision (after Luisa told her the way of find what's happening to the magic is to find Bruno's vision) and sees herself in it, after Pepa came into her room , Mirabel starts asking if a person was in Bruno's vision was bad or not, causing Pepa and the family to tell how ''horrible'' Bruno's visions were
