She reigned 64 years on the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. (20th June 1837-1901) She reigned 25 years on the India. (May 1876-1901) She had a big empire with colonies all over the world.

- had expensive toys and pets - had good food - had nice warm clothes - had shoes - the possibility of having lessons at home or of going to school - didn't have to work - had holidays
- did not have shoes - lived in filthy condition, lived in the damp - many died of disease - had few luxuries - had hungry, had ate poor food - obliged is to wear uniforms - had ragged clothes - did not go to school so not read or write - were working hard and long in poor condition from the age of five - orphans were sent to workhouses

The living conditions in the workhouse was horrible. They ate the same food every day. Children were slot to work in mines and factories.

There were many differents jobs for children because there was small, such as working in chimneys . they were considered and treated as adults and slaves !
