10. This act allowed the federal government to break up tribal lands. It was known that over 90,000,000 acres that belong to tribal lands were stripped away. The only ones that agreed to these acts were allowed to be the citizens.
11.This marked the main end or at least lost of hope for gaining back the lands that were theirs once. This massacre was taken place in South Dakota and kill nearly 150 Native Americans.

9.For about five months a small group of 250 Nez Perce warriors and chief Joseph held off the US force. I would say it still didn't go very well because it proceeded with the raid on all bands of Nez Perce.
