Apartheid
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.By Mandela
What is the Apartheid?
The Apartheid in South Africa was the racial segregation under the all-white government of South Africa which dictated that non-white South Africans (a majority of the population) were required to live in separate areas from whites and use separate public facilities, and contact between the two groups would be limited. The different racial group were physically separated according to their location, public facilities and social life.
Who was Nelson Mandela?
Was a South African anti-apartheid activist and politician who served as the first president of South Africa.
His government focused on dismantling the legacy of apartheid by fostering racial reconciliation.
Mandela served 27 years in prison, split between Robben Island, Pollsmoor Prison and Victor Verster Prison. Amid growing domestic and international pressure and fears of racial civil war.

Interesting how a small quantity of white people managed to contain such a large population in their country.

What i think?
I think it is really a stupid thing racial segregation, this separation between whites and blacks is not very sensible, it is true at that time the black "race" was very discriminated against, but to get to the point of not being able to attend public places together is too much, they couldn t go to the same school and couldn t eat in the same restaurant. Although racial segregation is "over", I think this distinction between whites and blacks will never be resolved, there will always be people who will discriminate.
