The first thing you need to know is that conditional sentences consist of two clauses:

If + part 1 + part 2 or

Part 2 + if + part 1

When using a conditional sentence, there two main things we need to take into account: 1- The type of tenses the conditional uses 2- In which situation we use that type of conditional

Let's study the First Conditional now

As you learnt in the previous video, the first conditional sentence is used with the Present Simple + the Future Simple. However, we can also use an imperative or a modal + bare infinitive (infinitive without to) in the second part. Let's see some examples
