Arthur Conan Doyle wrote The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes on the 14th of October 1892.He was inspired by his former university professor named Joseph Bell,a Scottish physician and professor of medicine. It is a collection of detective stories featuring the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.
