POP UP MUSEUM
Topic Two
Creating a pop up Museum
Pop Up Museums are temporary exhibitions created by people to share and participate.
They can be realized in every space, institutional or not, and with every object possible.
Objects, if considered individually, represent the grammar and semantics of the discourse. What truly matters, however, is the parameter to follow when displaying the objects, as it allows to organize the entire discourse...
They are cheap and do not require a long preparation.
They can create a link with traditional works of art.
They can be a starting point to encourage people to visit institutional museums.
...just as it happens with words. If used in different orders, words can convey different meanings.
In a pop-up museum the arrangement of the objects is established by the working group.
CREATE YOUR OWN PERSONAL MUSEUM!
They can yield positive results even in formal education places.
They can be a useful learning tool.
They can be used as an advertising tool
