"Our mission is to save the red pandas by tackling climate change." - Mission Statement

Pandamonium Logo

Red Pandas live in Temperate deciduous forests. Unfortunately, climate change has recently affected this, driving them toward extinction. Red pandas must live in various specific temperatures; when the temperature changes, they must move and adapt. Sadly, those who can't adapt die, leaving only the fittest to reproduce. This continuous change is slowly making a living harder and harder. Eventually, this will lead to no survival in such a different environment from their original, which will drive them to extinction.

So many Red Pandas are dying everyday. Sadly are donations aren't holding up enough and no matter how many we save, more are dying. Recently we rescued over 10,000 red pandas while we protested and brought 3 different factories to use completely green energy.

About The Panda

Info:While the common name for the animal we are trying to save is the Red Panda, its scientific name is Ailurus fulgens. The red panda is not a panda; its red color and its similarly shaped face give it the name. It is a very common and cute animal that is common in some Chinese cultures and has recently been featured in the animated Disney film"Turning Red." Red pandas are found in Temperate Deciduous Forests in China (Map found beside). Red pandas are endangered because of their living necessities. Red Pandas can only live in very specific temperatures, and due to climate change when that changes they are forced to change their position in the tree; therefore, only pandas who know to do this and can survive can reproduce. Sadly that is a very small number, and the continuously worsening climate only makes it harder.

About The Temperate Deciduous Forest

Info:Temperate Deciduous Forest's are places with 30 to 59 inches of rain every year with a temperate weather. The wind speed are decently high and as you would expect there is a lot of precipitation there. It is also the same orangeish red color as the red panda. You can find Limestone and Sandstone for abiotic factors as well as many other basic rockes as well as Red Pandas, Giant Pandas , spiders, frogs, turtles and salamanders. These forests are also in danger. Due to climate change they are all drying up which is causing more and more to die and less homes for the pandas.

About Climate Change

Info:Climate change is scary. This is caused by gasses floating up to the ozone layer and staying there. It is letting heat come in and not letting it get out. This generates more heat in the environment and cooks it like a pressure cooker. This is lethal for our little red pandas since they need a specific temperature to survive. Without this temperature, they must move and find a place with a more suitable heat level. Not all red pandas can make this journey, and some are destined to die as there is no nearby place with a more reasonable temperature. Furthermore, having lived in a warm damp forest isn't suitable. The trees dry up with this increase in heat, and all the wet areas become dry. Slowly, the particular trees found in the Temperate Deciduous Forest will die, unable to live and compete in such a changing time. Everyone should care about climate change. If you live in a world where this keeps going, many animals will die. Those cats that people attempt so hard to rescue won't be able to survive in such a changing world. Trees dried up, and droughts in more places than ever imagined. You can't live in a world where we don't have basic things like proper air to breathe or being hot outside every day. Snow Days would be a thing of the past, and the polar caps would melt. Things like pencils or paper would be inaccessible, and we would be forced to shift to online wholly. Could you imagine living in a world like that?

Our Work

Info:Our organization was founded recently in 2019. This was when the problem with Red Pandas was getting increasingly popular, so we decided to take it into our own hands to try and stop it. Our mission is to save the red pandas by tackling climate change. We helped create multiple laws, such as The Chinese manufacturing law. This is the law in which many Chinese factories in areas with Red Pandas with high emission values are switched to green energy or shut down. We also purchased much land, hoping to save as many pandas as possible. As we speak, pandas are being transferred into our facility to try and increase the population. We recently got President Joe Biden to attend one of our Fundraising events, and he donated 1 million dollars alongside Warren Buffet. We have had Mr.Beast come to one of our events, and he switched three factories to be entirely solar-powered and shifted an entire Chinese neighborhood 30 minutes away from the red pandas to solar as well.

Get Involved

Info:If you want to try and help these poor little animals you can start by donating to pandamonium.donate to donate or stay on this website and check the latest news page to see if there are any upcoming fundraisers. If you want you can email us at branch@pandamonium.com to open up your own volunteering, fundraising, or even active group. You can make any change, a big or a small. Everything you do goes a long way. You yourself could start by switching from gas and oil to completely solar powered homes. This could save you money and in some sunny places even make you some. If you really want to help you can also fund solar panels in homes near these areas and try to get factories in China or near the home of the red pandas to either switch to solar or shut down. We can also try and protect them as poachers are also a threat to these furry creatures as their fur can be very valuable.
