However, you must choose a different theme. For example, you could choose any of the following: Oedpius goes Nascar Oedipus goes Gansta Oedipus goes Disney Oedipus goes to Space These are just ideas-You may choose others be creative

All team members must participate; however, those who choose not to act can write a larger portion of the script

A script should be written using the major characters and interactions; however, the words chosen can be different to match the theme you choose-Names can be slighlty deviated (ex:Jonacost)

Students demonstrate a creative and unique approach to the revised script while maintaining the storyline, plot, elements, and motifs. Students do have the option of creating an alternate ending, as long as connections are made to the true ending of the play.

Script is typed and thorough, including major events, motifs, characters, including chorus, etc. It does not have to be word for word and can be an abridged version.

Each person contributed to the final presentation. Teams will act out their scripts and demonstrate thorough knowledge of the play.

The script demonstrates understanding of the four elements of Greek culture (protection, restitution, worship, and shame), and how each play a role in the play.The script should reflect each act of the play.
