Was an amphitheatre, also called Amphitheatre Flavio named like this because of was built by the manage of the Emperor vespasino from the Flavio dynasty

The most part of the colosseum is made up of travertine, the statues were made up of marble, wood in the arena and bricks in some parts of the caveas

The colosseum have an eliptic plant that could albergate 50.000-70.000 persons
