shakespeare was the most famous brithish poet and playwrite; He was considered the father of english lenguage.

he was born on the 23rd april 1564 in stratford-upon-avon and died on his birthday 1616 in stratford.

the lenguage of people

in his plays shakespeare used the language of people (he didn't write in latin or franch) he used english, so that all people could understand.

he mixed the rules

he mixed the rules on stage (kings and peasants) he talked about different themas like love and patriotism.

''blank verse''

shakespeare used ''blank verse in iambic pentameter'' because it was natural and easy to remember for actors.

rivals families

the tragedy takes place in verona: the capulet family and the montague family are rivals.

during a mask party, romeo and juliet met and fell in love (balcony scene)

juliet's cousin

they got merried secretly.during a fight , tybalt, juliet's cousin, kills mercutio romeo's friend and romeo kills tybalt so the prince of verona sends his awey.

juliet's father forced her to marry another man.

THE PLAN

Juliet makes a plan with frier lourence to drink a special poison on to appear dead.

TOGETHER UNTIL DEATH

ROMEO DIDN'T RECIVE THE FRIER'S LETTER, SO HE COME BACK TO VERONA HE THOUGHT JULIET WAS DEAD SO HE KILLED HIMSELF, THEN JULIET SAW ROMEO IS DEAD AND SHE KILLED HERSELF. THE FAMILIES WERE SO SAD THAT THEY AGREE NOT FIGHT ANYMORE.
