What are the possible health effects?

High levels of certain PFAS may lead to:

Increased cholesterol levels

Changes in liver enzymes

Decreased vaccine response in children

Reproductive and developmental problems

Increased risk of high blood pressure or pre-eclampsia in pregnant women

Increased risk of kidney, testicular, and other cancers
