Today's objective!

You will learn some tips on how to apply English grammar correctly in different contexts. For example:

Guess Who...

Each player chooses a character card at random from the deck without showing it to the opponent. This is the secret character that the opponent must guess.

Verb + Object

The verb and the object normally go together. We do not usually put other words between them

Place

TThe verb and place (where?) normally go together: go home / live in a city / walk to work If the verb has an object, the order is:

Time

Normally time (when? / how ofen? / how long?) goes afer place:

Sometimes we put time at the beginning of the sentence: On Monday I’m going to Paris / Afer the party Sarah gave me a lif home.

Keeping a journal is a wonderful strategy...

1. Choose a grammar topic you have had trouble with 2. Open a digital writing tool (Word, google docs, etc) 3. Start writing just a few sentences related to any topic. (Memories, what you did in your day, opinions, letters, etc). 4. Try to include the grammar topic you chose within your writing. 5. After you finish, check the corrections the app made.
