Muscles
Muscles in our body enable us to move. When a nerve signal is sent, muscle cells contract making the muscle shorter. When the signal stops, the cells relax and the muscles returns to its original lenght.
A nerve impulse reaches the triceps and the muscles contracts. The muscle is attached to the radius by a tendon. When the triceps contracts, the radius moves and the elbow unbends
A nerve impulse reaches the biceps and the muscle contracts. The muscle is attached to the ulna by the tendon. When the biceps contracts, the ulna moves and the elbow bends
