PRESENT PERFECT

Hello, my name is Roy David Reyes Pallares, I am 23 years old, I live in Valledupar and I study Visual Arts, art has inspired me in my life, when I was young I loved to draw on any surface, I have had the opportunity to get a scholarship to study the career that I like, is an achievement that makes me feel proud due to my discipline and perseverance. Since 2017 I have worked hard on social networks as a digital artist and currently that effort has paid off, one of which is that I have been able to buy many necessary elements for my work environment. Thanks to my parents I have had the opportunity to graduate as a bachelor and study in a decent school, for me it is one of my greatest goals accomplished, to see the happiness of my parents when I achieve my degree. Up to this point in my life, I have been satisfied with the goals achieved, however this is not the end and there are still many obstacles to overcome.

My plans for the future will focus mainly on my life as a professional, it is difficult to start any project once I have finished a university degree, however nothing is impossible, based on my knowledge I will build a brand that produces audiovisual content to generate employment in my city. the goal is to become recognized as an independent company in many parts of the country and work on many projects with a cultural impact on the visual arts scene. After work, the ideal thing for me would be to focus on my happiness. I am going to do everything I can to travel and see every corner of Colombia, it is one of my dreams to fulfill in the short term and I hope to achieve it. Within 5 years I will be fulfilling my purpose as an educator, I want to teach everything I have learned about my career and also about my knowledge and experiences. I will contribute to the education and culture of art in the country, I have always considered being a teacher because I like to teach and see the result of improvement in others. I want to form an exemplary life in the coming years, to begin to have new ideals that take me to new horizons.

FUTURE PERFECT

One of my long-term goals is to buy a house, currently it is much more difficult to acquire land due to world inflation, so the future does not give me much hope, even so I imagine that within 10 years I will have accumulated enough money to start the payment of my first house and thus live in a dignified way with my family. I hope all my projections for the workplace are successful, I will have finished my master's degree in design and art direction, giving me the opportunity to expand to new job offers with more opportunities that allow better benefits. I want to form a family with which I can enjoy my achievements as well as the rest of my days. When I am forty years old I will have had 2 children with the woman I have married. I think that having children is a great responsibility, personally for me it is a long-term goal because I want first to become a father who can take care of all his needs. I will have spread humanitarian aid throughout Colombia, contributing to foundations where art is applied as a teaching goal and opportunities.

Yes, during the B2 English course I have consulted the topics with the E-BOOK, it is a practical tool to complete my work with the greatest possible efficiency. 2. Did you read the guide and all the information presented by your teacher about the task? Did you attend the activity web-conference or checked the recording? Yes, I always read the guides from beginning to end because it provides us with all the information we must take into account to carry out each activity, I usually do not go to the conferences due to my occupations and jobs, but I always see the recordings of the meetings reuploaded by The tutor. 3. Did you participate in the forum in advance or just at the end? Yes, I always like to participate in the forum in advance to receive feedback from the tutor and classmates, I think my contributions are reflected in it. 4. Did you accomplish the duties of your role in the collaborative work or just work alone? Yes, I performed the role that I selected in a good way, fulfilling the task that I had to perform, encouraging communication and teamwork with my colleagues. 5. As a group, did you do a review of the final document and the presentation before uploading it in the evaluation environment? No, communication as a group was not good, much less when it came to consolidating the parts of the work. For my part, I tried to communicate with the colleagues and there was no response, communication is a factor to improve as a group.
