Sometimes overcoming fear can help you accomplish your goals. At first, Leon said, "I can't, cried Leon". Leon was scared to open a door to save people. Leon was too scared to open the door because of the risk of getting infected, and he got overwhelmed. Even though he was scared, he overcame his fears and saved the passengers.
"The skeleton of Mr.Mareham,poking through the jelly here and there, was unaffected, un-liquidized, and told an inside story: Ben had died as he slept." (Scarrwcore 116) I will name this Rising Action, because this is when things get interesting. Liam's friend had died because of the virus and Liam knew this Plague was really serious and he had to get out of there.
The main character of my book is a teen named Leon. Leon is brave, persistent, and selfless. Even when there is a deadly virus, he never gave up and kept on trying to survive. At the beginning of the book, Leon was really scared and nervous, but slowly he gets braver and protects his sister and mom.

Leon and his younger sister both moved to London with their mother. After a while, they moved and heard of a virus that originated in Africa. Soon the virus comes to London, and they have to fight for survival. They move from place to place and also help people in need.
There is no exact setting in Plague Land because Liam and his family are going to a variety of places to escape the plague. Some settings are London, Leon's house, a train stop, and a school.
Leon's Wound is a symbol to this story because it shows that Leon is a brave kid and how hard he works to survive this plague.
