Instead of engaging in a different role, you can also “shadow” someone to (almost) experience what they are going through in their role themselves. Once their experiences and leadership styles have inspired you, you can turn around and use their example. Using different role models, you can tap into different real-life experiences and copy/adapt what you find most useful to grow your leadership skill set.
