Luxury cars were invented in 1950’s Germany (volks wagon). Only 2 were sold in year 1 because the Germany model didn’t even look like a USA car, eventually in 1972 it became the world’s most sold car
Because of an oil shortage in 1973, people were looking for diesel cars and they started buying foreign cars, especially Japan. By 1.5 decades foreign cars grew about 20%
After all that companies just started to follow the flow, try and make nicer features and reduce carbon emissions
1960’s, the government made a new act where all cars had to be safer to the environment

From 1908-1926 a very popular car design, Model T was unveiled due to Ford and they had to keep up with demand so they made the first assembly line (man not machine)
