SIMPLE FUTURE AND FIRST CONDITIONAL

SIMPLE FUTURE

The future simple, also known as the simple future tense, is a verb tense used to talk about actions or events that will happen in the future. The basic structure of the future simple is: Subject + will + base form of verb For example: • "I will go to the gym tomorrow." • "She will finish her work by 5 pm."

The auxiliary verb "will" is used to indicate the future time. It is conjugated to match the subject of the sentence, and the base form of the verb (infinitive without "to") is used after it. Note that the future simple can also be used to make predictions or statements about the future, rather than just talking about planned or certain events. In this case, the structure is the same but the meaning changes: • "I think it will rain later." • "The company will probably announce their new product next month." Overall, the future simple is a versatile and commonly used verb tense to express future actions, events, or predictions.
