The socio culture forces is the main reason for this new product. This is because Malaysia has become the fattest country in Asia which nearly half of the Malaysian adult population now overweight or obese. By introducing this product they can become more concern about their health and be in control of what they consume. The purple wheat bread have all the nutrition for an ordinary adult and elderly people.
The fact is purple wheat bread is rich in fiber and have a good amount of protein, vitamin, and minerals. So it is safe to consume by elderly people because it helps to balance the total cholesterol and insulin level. By this it can fight obesity and diabetes as well and maintain a good eye sight and kidney health.
