What is flavour

  • Flavour is the sensory impression of a food or other substance
  • Men are able to perceive 7 different flavours:
    • sweet,
    • bitter,
    • salty, sour,
    • meaty/umami,
    • hot,
    • cool
  • Capsaicin reaches the brain through pain pathways

  • -Is a really complete and various cuisine.
  • -It can be divided into eight zones( Sichuan, Hunan, Shadong, Zhejiang,fujian, Anhui, Cantonese, Jiangsu.
  • -It's often really tasty and spicy.
  • -It's stand Will have two dishes for every cuisines zone.

KUNG PAO CHICKEN

Kung Pao chicken is the most famous Sichuan dish abroad. There are several variations, but generally it is cooked in a pan with chicken cubes, dried chili peppers and well-fried peanuts

hONGSHAO ROU

Hongshao rou is an Hunan cuisines's dish that consists in pork belly cooked in soy sauce and caramelized

From Kerala, this is a chicken curry whose flavouring has both green and red chillies, coconut oil, coconut milk and a great variety of aromatic spices. Best paired with rice or chapati to dim the spices' flavour.

LAAL MAAS

A mutton-based dish from Rajasthan with mustard oil. It has an unique smoky flavour given by the Rajasthani Mathania red chillies

ANDHRA CHILLI CHicken

As the name suggests, chilli and chicken are the main ingredients. In this dish green chilli is not just a flavouring, but a main ingredient!

RISTA

This dish from Kashmir is made of tender meatballs of red meat with a gravy with tomato, garlic, ginger, red chilli powder and other spices. To be enjoyed with Naan and cumin rice.

  • The main ingredients are chillies and pork.

  • Gaeng Som is an orange curry from south Thailand.
  • It usually contains fish or shrimp and is served with boiled rice.

  • Som Tam is a green papaya salad.

  • Gaeng Kua Kling is a dry curry from south Thailand.
  • It is made from meat, which can be either pork, chicken, fish or beef.

  • Gaeng Tai Pla is a avery spicy curry from south Thailand.
  • It is made with lots of chillies, spices, aubergines, pumpkins and fish.
