WHO ARE THE BEATLES?

The Beatles were an English rock group, originally from Liverpool, regarded as the most extraordinary and innovative music of the sixties. Even today the many fans continue to listen to their many hits.

The musical group consisted of four artists:

Genesis of the Beatles name

The name Beetles in English means "beat". It was derived from the union of two words,beetles and beat. In Italy, an unfortunate translation of the word beetles has led the boys of Liverpool to pass for cockroaches!

WHEN WAS BORN THE BAND?

Their musical group was born on August 16, 1962 with the first song LOVE ME DO, but did not get a great success. Celebrity came with their first album, PLEASE PLEASE ME, released on March 22, 1963, which marked the band's debut not only in the UK but also in the rest of Europe and the USA.

THE SUCCESS

The Beatles became famous all over the world! Their success goes beyond music. They were imitated for their way of dressing, for their haircut and for their nonconformist way of life. Queen Elizabeth named them "baronets" recognizing their merit for spreading the British image around the world..

The break up

In 1969 on January 30, the group dissolved due to internal conflicts.Their last success was LET IT BE. Subsequently their musical journey continues individually. John Lennon debuts with the song IMAGINE, dies assassinated by revolver shots of a deranged man on the evening of December 8, 1980. George Harrison passed away in 2001 from a tumor.
