First woman to premiere an opera in Spain. She acquired her first notions of music with her father.
She studied piano, harmony and composition at the Conservatory of Madrid and finished her studies at the age of fourteen with the End of Career Award, being considered a child prodigy.
She worked as concertmaster at the Teatro Real in Madrid, gave concerts all over Europe, premiered operas and zarzuelas, and taught at the Madrid Conservatory as professor of Vocal and Instrumental Ensemble.
He moved to Puerto Rico with his sister, where, in addition to continuing to compose, he taught at the University of Rio Piedras.
He arrived in Colombia and during the forties he worked as a teacher in Bogotá, besides working as a concert pianist and continued composing.
She created the Women's Association for Civic Education, whose objective was to promote the culture of working middle-class women.
Because of the Civil War, she went into exile with her sister. He was in Cannes with María Lejárraga and in Switzerland.
