Second conditional
We use the second conditional to talk about unreal situation: situations that impossible or unreal. We use: Subj + past simple -- would E.g. If I found a cellphone, I would call the emergency contact. If Alice was a superhero, she would be Wanda. What would you do if you didn't have money to pay a bill at a restaurant?

In the second conditional forms such as: If I were If he were If she were If it were are all correct, but it is also common to see them with "was".

When
You want to travel to space... You wouldn't be able to travel to space unless you had a space ship.
Imagine you won the lottery. What would be the first thing you would buy when you cashed the prize?
