For Young People Who Don't Want To Get In Trouble!
You Can Plagiarise... Yourself?!
"Fair Use" is Tricky
There are no set rules regarding what is "fair use," only guidelines. Always cite sources and request permission whenever possible!
While it may sound strange at first, copying your own work for different classes does count as plagiarism!
"Ideas" Aren't Covered
Copyright is covered in the U.S. Constitution
Copyright is Automatic!
You don't have to add the little symbol or mail your work to yourself - once you've created something, it's protected!
To be protected by copyright, it must be a tangible "work," not just an idea. Make those dreams a reality, then get a lawyer!
That means respecting copyright law is as American as Apple Pie!
