Hong Duc University| (HDU) s a public university in Vietnam, located in Thanh Hoa city, near Lam Son high school and Sam Son beach.
The university was established on September 24, 1997 (This university is named after the era name of the most prosperous emperor in the whole history of the nation: Lê Thánh Tông) .Hong Duc University is the first university in the Vietnamese higher education system to be established under a new model: a public, multi-disciplinary university, under the supervision of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, under Quality management of the Ministry of Education and Trainin

Hong Duc University with a large and spacious campus is located on 3 locations with a land area of 55.47 hectares, the total construction floor area for teaching and scientific research is 41,683 m2.
Laboratories, practice rooms, multi-purpose gymnasiums, and practice workshops are equipped in a specialized and specialized way to meet the requirements of teaching and scientific research of each major/discipline
The school has focused on building a system of laboratories, practice with modern machinery and equipment; The computer system has been connected to ADSL, wireless network..
More than 200 classrooms/lecture halls, including 35 large rooms/halls with 150-200 seats, 15 multimedia classrooms, equipped with microphones, projectors meet the requirements of innovative teaching methods.
Currently, the University has 33 groups of laboratories/practices, with thousands of devices and models; multi-purpo se stadium, spacious, modern, 4020 m2.
Laboratories, practice rooms, multi-purpose gymnasiums, and practice workshops are equipped in a specialized and specialized way to meet the requirements of teaching and scientific research of each major/discipline
