WHAT IS SECOND CONDITONAL?
Second Conditional
Is used to express an unreal possibility in the present, such a wish or dream, or for an action in the furure that is not probable. 1%~40% – can happen, but probably won’t.
structure of the 2nd conditional
If + past simple, would/wouldn't + verb. Note: When we use the second condicional, we use were with I.
If I lived in a big city, I wouldn't need a car.
"If I was rich, I would travel the world".
If we had a garden, we could have a cat.
If I were you, I would quite smoking.

WHAT IS THIRD CONDITIONAL?
We use the 3rd conditional to talk about things that were possible in the past, but that didn’t happen or can no longer happen now, which means they are actually impossible/ unreal events. [If + past perfect tense] , + [would + present perfect tense] "If it had started to rain, the picnic would have been cancelled".
structure of the 3rd conditional
If + past perfect verb sentence + verb + would have (past participle). A past action that didn´t happen and it´s imaginary result.
If you hadn’t shown up late, you would have got the job.
You would have passed your exam if you had worked harder.
If you had more time this week, what would have done?
The food would have tasted better if you had used more salt.
