Step One: Choose your topic
There are many issues impacting the world today.
Research current issues in society today.
Choose an issue that speaks to you, then fill out the table on your draft. Remember, your topic should: - have a clear impact on society -be debatable Your draft can be found here:
Your teacher must approve your topic and table before moving on.
Step Two: Create your claim
Write a claim explaining the impacts of this issue. Remember, a claim should be specific and arguable!
Step Three: Determine your target audience

What will you use to establish your honesty and integrity to gain your audience’s trust?
Step Four: Pathos
How do you want your audience to feel? How will you get them to feel this way?
Step Four: Logos
What facts and reasoning will you provide to make your audience think about the issue?

Create a Works Cited page to include at the end of your persuasive public presentation.
