Password Policy

What is Included

The Password policy are rules on how passwords should be created and structured when signing up to sites while using your working device by creating conditions your password must meet

How it helps

The password policy ensures that passwords, the first line of defence against attacckers, are secure and hard to breach. Enforcing these rules makes sure your employees will have strong passwords that take longer to breach while still being easy to remember.

Impact if not included

If this policy is not implemented, Employees may have easy to guess or brute force passwords. Attackers will have a higher chance to login to an employees devices and access all of their data and permissions. This puts the company data at risk of being stolen, modified or leaked, which would cause the company to break the DPA by having false infomation and not being able to protect it.

Data protection Policy

What is Included

The Data protection policy informs employees ho their data is being used and how employees should handle confidential data they are collecting which is protected by law

How it helps

The policy helps your company meet requirements of data laws and ensures that measures are taken if said laws are broken to keep employees complient and have the choice to blame the worker rather than the company

Impact if not included

Without these types of policies, any instance of law breaking within the company will impact the company itself as there is no specific rule to employees that state they cannot break the law without punishment. These laws can defend companies from lawsuits if a employee wishes to preform malicious activity or if data is leaked from human error.

Software installation Policy

What is Included

The sofware instalation policy regulates which softwares employees are allowed to install and use, or if they are allowed to download any software at all

How it helps

Regulating what employees are allowed to download on their Pcs greatly decrease the chance of them downloading malware or any software that may distract them from work or fill up the storage on their device.

Impact if not included

This paragraph is ready to hold stunning creativity, experiences and stories.If these regulations are not included, company devices may become compromised and slow down or stop working completely, which will need to be repaired, wasting money, and slow down the productivity of the business

Internet use Policy

What is Included

The interent use policy determines which websites employees are allowed to access and what they are allowed to search on company devices.

How it helps

By regulating how your employees access the internet, employees will not be able to access potentially illegal or inappropiate sites, or any sites that the company do not want the employees to use, like social media. This will help retain the companies reputation and keep employees focused on their work

Impact if not included

If these policies are not included, the company may be held accountable for any illegal searchs its employees make, or suffer a loss of productivity and reputation for their actions. These policies also stop employees from getting distracted while at work.
