The writing process

Are the steps, the writters follow from the beginning to the end of creating a piece of writing. They help us to write better, easier and faster.

THE STEPS OF THE WRITING PROCESS ARE:

1. Prewrite.

2. Drafting.

3. Revising,

4. Editing.

5. Publishing.

PRE-WRITING.

Is the first step and it means before writing. What do we have to do before writing?

-Choose a topic. - Identify the purpose and audience. - Do some research on the topic. - Brainstorm ideas about your topic.

Graphic organizers will help us to visualize and organize our ideas.

DRAFTING: Is the second stage of the prewriting process.

Here is where we put all the information we researched and the outlined ideas into our own words, write sentences and paragraphs. The draft does not have to be perfect, we write what we know and think about the topic..

REVISING: Is the third step of the writing process

- Here we may arrange words or sentences. -We can add examples to clarify ideas. - Also we can add descriptive details to convince the readers. -And make clear connections between ideas. -In other words, make our writing better. - Add, take out, and replace.

EDITING
