SCHOOL LEADER ACTIONS
Action 1
Create a safety and crisis emergency plan, including training for all staff and allocation of resources. Creating a culture of safety is paramount to creating trust in the school and the community in response to emergencies.
Action 2
Develop a School Improvement Plan in Collaboration with Students, Staff, and the Community. The vision of high performance and achievement has to be shared by all educational stakeholders.
Action 3
Create a Professional Development Action Plan to Establish a Culture of Data Data must be at the center of all decisions. Yet, data needs to mean something. We must invest in training, sofware, and experts to interpret data.
Action 4
Develop a team of Instructional Leaders. The commitment to continuous learning must include everyone in the school. Shared accountability is key to responding to every situation.
Action 5
Establish Community Partnerships and Participation to showcase academics, athletics, fine arts, and career training programs. Building community relationships and creating real-life learning opportunities for students is key to academic achievement.
