" Increasing population High fuel consumption Food shortages Global warming Inorganic food Consumption Water shortage The best alternative for this is AQUAPONICS

The world faces a number of crises today :

Introdcution

Aquaponics is a sustainable method of food production combining aquaculture (raising aquatic animals) and hydroponics (cultivating plants in water). In this circulating system, fish waste acts as a natural fertilizer for plants, plants then take up those nutrients and return clean water to the fish.

What is Aquaponics and How Does it Work? What are 4 ways aquaponic improves on hydroponics?

Write a subtitle

Hypothesis

· Aquaponics combines hydroponics (the growing of plants without soil) and aquaculture (the raising of fish and other aquatic animals) in a single recirculating environment. Plants are grown in the grow bed, while fish are placed in the fish tank. The ammonia in the nutrient-rich water from the fish tank, which contains fish waste, is converted by millions of naturally occurring beneficial bacteria in the grow bed into nitrites and then into nitrates.

4 WAYS AQUAPONICS IMPROVES ON HYDROPONICS

1.NUTRIENTS 2. AQUAPONICS MIMICS NATURE 3. ZERO WASTE 4. MORE PRODUCTIVE

Steps

Step One: Put Your Fish Tank Together. Step Two: Build Your Media Bed. -{make hols in the plastic cups} Step Three: Add the Fish. Step Four: Add the Plants. Step Five: Maintain Your System.

how aquaponics works ?

How Aquaponics Works ? 1. Fish are raised in a tank 2. Water from the fish tank is pumped to the plants 3- Bacteria convert ammonia and nitrite to nitrate 4. Plants absorb the nutrient rich water 5. Filtered water is returned to the fish tank, clean

Conclusion and benefits of aquaponic

·Hydroponic farms offer a pathway towards a more sustainable food ethic that prioritizes the health of our food, bodies and environment without the heavy use of chemicals.

1. Organic and Nutritional Benefits. .2.Food is Grown All Year Round. 3.Reduces Water Usage. ... 4.No Soil, No Weeding. 5.Accelerated Plant Growth

Conclusion Charts for the countries that qualify
