This technique of advertising is done with the help of two factors - needs of consumers and fear factor.

An example of emotional appeal advertising can be seen in this video by the ASPCA. It uses pictures and videos of neglected and abused dogs. The goal of this advertisement is for the customer to feel sad and donate to the ASPCA.

Promotional ADVERTISING

This technique involves giving away samples of the product for free to the consumers. The items are offered in the trade fairs, promotional events, and ad campaigns in order to gain the attention of the consumers.

bANDWAGON ADVERTISING
