Gender equality means that people are free to choose the work, lifestyle or skills they want without fear of discrimination. It means that their gender does not influence their identity. It is just something that makes them unique, and not something that can be used as a tool to facilitate discrimination; it does not influence rights, perspectives or hinder access to facets of society.
