The Skeletal System
In this lesson, the class will be able to identify the skeletal system. They will also be able to identify skeletal diseases and disorders.

The learners are grade eight, and the subject is science and biology.
Standards
1.4.a. Students know and use a deliberate design process for generating ideas, testing theories, creating innovative artifacts or solving authentic problems.
Science K-8 and Biology
Padlet
I will create a Padlet that shows each part of a skeletal system . The class will respond to the Padlet and say something that they learned from it.
Google Slides
The class will make a google slide on one the the skeletal systems diseases they have learned about. They will describe the disease and tell two ways to treat it.
Timeline of activities
For the last thirty minutes, each student will create a google slide of a disease in the skeletal system and name two ways it can be treated.
For the next twenty minutes, I will provide the students with a copy of a skeleton, and they will fill in the blanks on which part is which.
For the next ten minutes, the class will reply to the padlet and name something they learned from it.
In the first fifteen minutes of class, I will show the class my padlet and explain the parts of the skeletal system and deseases.
Rubric
Correctness- The students had the correct information.Including everything- The students described the disease and named two things to treat it. Creativity- The students were creative and added pictures.
