Title & Summary

Black History Project

Students will be provided with a WHO AM I sheet and do a mini poster on their person assigned. This includes technology, because they have to use it to do research for their person and get the information .

List of items/materials needed

  1. Laptop / ipad
  2. Poster board (mini one)
  3. Who Am I worksheet
  4. Glue
  5. Printer to print pictures
  6. Scissors

Timeline for Project

Teacher will have glue & scissors in class.

Teacher will watch presentation and grade.

Teacher will pass the sheets.

Teacher will walk around to mentor.

Teacher will assign person.

Students start poster and gather material.

Students are assigned their person.

Students will present in 3-5 minutes and answer any questions.

Fill out their Who am I worksheet to help with research and look online.

Students will use classtime to do their poster. Can do at home too with parents help.

This is a rubric I may use to grade them for their project. I'm mainly grading for what other teachers want in presentiations.
