Library Cards
You may sign up for a library card in you live in or near Coffey County. You're library card will be good at all 6 Coffey County Libraries: Burlington, Gridley, Lebo, LeRoy, New Strawn, and Waverly.
To register for a library card you will need:
- Proof of Address-this may be your ID or Driver's license as long as it has an up-to-date address, or a piece of mail with your name and current address on it.
- You'll also need to fill out a registration form either online or at the library.

Hoopla is an app that you can download on your phone or tablet. It also works on some Smart TVs.
- You'll sign up with your library card barcode and PIN #.
- Then you'll create a Hoopla account using an email address and a password that you create.
If you forget you're password, Hoopla has a Forgot Password link you can use to reset it, but we can not see or reset your Hoopla password for you after your account has been created. On Hoopla you may borrow ebooks, eaudiobooks, and music. Borrowed items can be downloaded onto your device for offline usage and will be automatically deleted and returned on the due date.

Libby is an app that you can download on your phone or tablet. You can check out ebooks, and eaudiobooks and download them to your device for offline usage. They will be automatically deleted and returned on the due date.
- To sign up you'll Search for a library
- Type in Burlington Branch
- Select Sunflower eLibrary
- Then Sign In With My Card
- Scroll down to Coffey County Library
- Enter the barcode number from the back of your library card and your PIN # (the last 4 digits of your phone number)
- Click Next and you are ready to browse!

We always and gratefully accept monetary donations.Everything from a nickel to a memorial gift can make a difference in our collection and programming! Personal property, art objects, portraits, antiques and other museum objects are accepted with approval by the Coffey County Library Board. We also take donations of material, including books, dvds, and audio books, at the discretion of the branch director. If you have questions about a potential donation, please contact us by phone or on one of the social media platforms to the left. Thank you for thinking of us when making your charitable contributions. We appreciate your thoughtfulness!
