Create a workflow for local school technology purchases similar to Peoplesoft workflow for financial approvals. Requests would move through the IMT depts when each of the parameters are met. This would allow a status of approval and a level of accountability for IMT on behalf of the local school.

Ask what the actual instructional goals are and how the technologies will be implemented. 2. Find out the existing technologies used at the school, either through local funds or district provided initiatives. Consult and collaborate with the experts already in GCPS: 1. Talk with the Director of the subject area requesting information for thoughts on their goals for instruction and technologies already being used in high performing classrooms in that subject area. 2. Consult with the Coordinator of ITI Coaches and School Technology on new trends that they are hearing about. 3.
