What is a noun?
A noun is a word that names a person, place, animal, or thing.
idea- frienship
person- baby
thing- flower
place- home

Concrete Nouns
A concrete noun is something that can be observed through the five senses. If you can see, hear, touch, taste, or smell something, it uses a concrete noun. Ex: apple, table.
Draw a picture of a concrete noun:
Abstract Nouns
Abstract Nouns can't be touched, tasted, seen, heard, or smelled. Ex: love, freedom.
Write an example of an abstract noun:
Common Nouns
Common Noun: Names a general noun (not capitalized).
Examples: dog, girl, car, pizza, pencil, computer, house
Proper Nouns
Proper Noun: A name of a specific person, place, thing, or idea.
Examples: Jake, Fynnleigh, Brinly, Pizza Hut, Microsoft, Oklahoma
