Letting Go Of Your Fears
Letting go of my fears of death and what might happen if I do something incorrectly has led me to have a sense of freedom. I am now able to do things I want without fear of consequences. If you aren't able to let go of your fears, you will never be able to truly live.
2nd Major Life Event
Divorces
Live And Let Die
02
Pual McCartney
Divorces
To me, the song 'Live And Let Die' by Paul McCartney relates to the experiences I have had in my life with divorce. This has happened more than once in my life and the ever changing world that they discuss is how I felt my world was always changing and I was never able to feel at home. Live and let die are principles I soon lived by to know that relationships (and more) will not always last forever.
3rd Major Life Event
Becoming independent

The Neighbourhood
Becoming Independent
'Void' by The Neighbourhood best represents my feeling of independence because of how it describes needing other people, not feeling the same, advice, and feelings. This song describes how I found my independence because I was forced into finding myself and learning how to take care of myself. For me, it is still important to be aware of my independence and how I have become a caapble person.

Panic/Negativity
Snap Out of It/Dig

Arctic Monkeys/Mudvayne
Panic/Negativity
'Dig' by Mudvayne describes the fear I feel while I experience panic. Throughout the lyrics, it mentions chanigng as a person and I belive it also brushes upon the topic of trust issues. Overall this is a good song that I enjoy listening to to calm me down, so I usually would relate it to the topic of panic or negativity.
'Snap Out Of It' by Arctic Monkeys is how I would like to describe the Panic and Negativity in my life. Whenever I experience bad things, I always try to get a grip of reality back so that I can focus on situations with a clear mind hence why I always "snap out of it".
5th Major Life Event
Dedication To Things I Love
Engravings

Ethan Bortnick
Dedication To The Things I Love
'Engravings' by Ethan Bortnick describes my dedication to the things I love due to the overwhelming amount of negative feedback I always recieve when it comes to the things I love, this song has described how I perservere through the hate. I will never forget how people have engraved their hate in my memory and tried to demolish my dedication. They have tried to take what I love, but I will always stay dedicated with their judgement engraved in my past.
6th Major Life Event
Graduation
Time Moves Slow

BADBADNOTGOOD
Graduation
'Time Moves Slow' by BADBADNOTGOOD expresses the feeling of lost time as I get closer to graduation and all the memories I have made of school. Majority of my life has been focused all around school and an ending to what I have always known makes me extremely emotional; however, this song describes everything about how I feel, not just for graduation, but for my past, present, and future. It makes me aware that letting go is okay but you need to live in the moment because time may seem like it's moving slow but it will always run by you.
7th Major Life Event
Moving Out
The Sweet Escape

Gwen Stefani
Moving Out
'The Sweet Escape' By Gwen Stefani and Akon indicates my want to go out and be more independent (more than I already am) and to escape the reality I am living of a crazy life. "Times get a little crazy" and I believe moving out is going to be a big step for me, especially since I have been counting down the days for a while now, so this will be a sweet escape.
8th Major Life Event
Career Path
Structure
08
Odd Sweetheart
Career Path
'Structure' by Odd Sweetheart represents how I want structure in my career path. In the beginning of the song, they mention how they have had something on their mind and they are too scared to speak which is similar to how I feel about chosing the right career path for me and how I have always had little support for what I want to do with my life. They also say "you're the only structure" which relates to a person and I also have 2 people in my life that remain as my structure and will always be supporting me for what I wish for in the future, including my career path.
