Outcomes
The project
A training, sharing and impact journey leading to meaningful changes
The Earth Tribe project draws on the content of the Earth Tribe Global Initiative, to propose a journey starting from reflection and training, data collection and crititcal thinnking, dialogue and action, evaluation and change, to concrete proposals for impact in Scout associations. It aims to motivate young people to learn more, critically evaluate data and decide on actions to improve the environmentally sustainable practices in their own communities. It encourages them to search for fact-based data, interact with other members of their community, holding al possioble views on the matter and reflect on what is really important, relevant and impactful in terms of change and improvements in the community life.

Equipped with Agora training, resources and tools, individual or teams of young people may decide to analyse their commnity realities and define a project that will contribute to improving the environmental sustainability of a certain area of life, offer insights into the opinions or behaviours of other people, etc.
Following their experience with the local projects, as well as their own interests, talents and expertise, young people will define and deliver a series of workshops, trainings and activities in and around Kandersteg, to engage other young people in getting informed and empowered in the field of environmental sustainability.
At Agora 2023, participants will receive specific training in community engagement, project management, data analysis and critical thinking, environmental sustainability as well as a broad range of ideas for realistic projects with a significant impact but require little resources.

I once told the Swedish Prime minster that he should spend the time after his resignation interrailing in Scotland. I don’t think he took my advice…
Lately I've been into carbon sinks. Not literally, but scientifically!
Born is Scotland, grew up in Wales and now living in England. Sort of makes me well rounded
I believe it's possible to make scramble eggs without eggs!
