The Geosphere
any of the almost spherical concentric regions of matter that make up the earth and its atmosphere, as the lithosphere and hydrosphere.
Outer
crust
mantle
Inner
Example: Rocks-Sand-Lava Mountains-Molten Magma
In the rock cycle, melted rock spews up onto the surface of the earth, lava. The solidified lava erodes and builds up somewhere. After years, pressure from the weight modifies it again. This buries it deeper into the earths crust then melted again by extreme heat until it spews out of the surface. This cycle is influenced by factors such as wind, temperature, water, etc.
10 years/prevention methods
If climate change affects the temperature in the future it could also affect the geosphere. This is because the geosphere's cycle is dependent on certain aspects like temp and water. Climate change can cause droughts and in turn affect the water aspect of the cycle. We can help prevent this by pressuring corporations to be more earth friendly and limiting pollution ourselves. Conserving water and educate others.
Despite its solid nature, the geosphere's surface is in constant motion. This movement creates, oceans, continents and their landforms through a process called Plate Tectonics.
