The 4 Lobes of the Brain

Frontal Lobe

Parietal Lobe

The Frontal lobe is responsible for higher cognitive skills such as planning, organizing, self monitoring to acheive a goal. As well as movement.

The Parietal Lobe is responsible for sensory perception. Such as feeling touch ( being able to tell where your body parts are without seeing them), pain, and tempature.

Temporal Lobe

Occipital Lobe

The Occipital Lobe is responsible for vison. This includes color determination, distance and depth perception, object/face recognition, and memory formation.

The Temporal Lobe is responsible hearing, speach,and most auditory information.
