The History
Oscar Wilde
The hotel was where Oscar Wilde was famously arrested in Room 118 on 6th April 1895, this room is now out Royal Suite.

If walls could talk, ours would have some captivating stories to tell. Our address, originally constructed in 1887, has long been a playground for socialites and bohemians like Oscar Wilde and Lillie Langtry. Today we celebrate our past and heritage while offering modern, understated luxury.
Lillie Langtry
Lillie lived in the townhouse, No. 21 Pont Street from 1892 to 1897. She was a mistress to Prince of Wales, son of Queen Victoria, future King Edward VII.

The Building
The hotel building consists of 5 separates buildings. The former Cadogan Hotel, the Union Bank of London, and 17, 19 & 21 Pont Street. The Cadogan Hotel was purchased by the Cadogan family Estate and then went through a £32M renovation project. The Cadogan as we know it now opened in February 2019.

The Gardens
Usually reserved for local residents only, guests at The Cadogan have access to Cadogan Place Gardens. The perfect place to unwind and refocus after a busy day. An elegant garden with tennis courts, Cadogan Place Gardens hasn't changed much since it was set up in 1886. We’ll provide blankets, deck chairs and board games.

Maison Lounge
Picnics
The LaLee is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served. It also has a bar for a more relaxed atmosphere. Opening times: daily, 7 am-10:30 pm
Quintessential British concept–but this time, with a French twist. Opening times: daily, from 12pm-6pm
For in-house guests, we offer picnic in the garden. Romance all the senses with an alfresco picnic in Cadogan Place Gardens.

Our Treatment Room
Cocooned within The Cadogan, this serene and indulgent space is now home to the cult treatments of "super facialist", Teresa Tarmey. Tarmey’s legendary approach to skin-care combines state-of-the-art technology and innovative techniques to deliver visible results. Opening hours: Monday: 10am–8pm Tuesday: 10am–4pm Wednesday: 10am–7pm Thursday: 9am–5pm Friday: 10am–8pm Weekend: Closed
