What to do if

I HAVE A CALLER WHO WAS A VICTIM OF A SEXUAL ASSAULT

If the client wants to take action against the facility where the assault happened, we will classify it as "Personal Injury - Premises Liability.". And we will add the details that it was a sexual assault.

Please remember to be empathic. As this is a very delicate situation, we MUST show that we are listening to them, that we care about what happened.

When dealing with a situation in which the caller was infected with an STD but it was not a sexual assault, we should use "Personal Injury - All Other Personal Injury" with the case type "STD Transmission.".

If the client wishes to file a lawsuit against the person who assaulted them, we will classify it as "Personal Injury - Assault.".
