This lesson will be for 10th grade art students

Objectives

Students will be able to participate in an asynchronous critique of their peers work.

Students will be able to provide meaningful feedback on their peer's work.

Rationale For Lesson

This lesson allows students to work on their critique skills while also collaborating in a digital space, which is often required for the workforce.

ThiNgs To Discuss in a Lecture

1. The etiquette and rules for a critique

2. An example of a good and bad critique

3. Instuctions for the assignment and how to use the platform

4. Why are we doing this? Why is it important?

Lesson Activity

This lesson will occur after the students have completed an art project. The students will upload pictures of their work to Padlet where they will then comment on others' posts to give them feedback on their work. This will be the critique for this project and will be required to be completed in a certain amount of time.
