"Death to me is Sweeter than Honey"

This quote was said by The holy Prophet PBUH and i think that from this, we can infer that one should not fear death as it is simply just a continuation of the current life. Another way of thinking about it is that everything we do now is what prepares and builds us up for our next life (jannah or juhanam) and therfore we should make the most of our lives currently whilst doing the expected things from Allah and not fear death. Just be prepared for it and think of it as a reunion with Allah.

Death (Task 3)

What would you do if a person is dying?

On page 10 of the death and beyond book, it states how when someone is dying, it is wajib to lay the dying person on their back facing qibla. Fromthere, it is then mustahab to do four things; 1- Help the dying person understand the Kalima .etc.2- Recite 4 certain suras along with the 54th aya of Suratul A'raaf and the last three ayaat of suratul Baqara. 3- It is recommended to recite Dua Adeela 4 - Help the dying person recite the dua on page 11. It is Makruh to also do four things of which are stated on page 12. Imam As-Sadiq said: "At the time of death one should recute 'La ilaha illallah' to the dying person for whosoever recited this during their dying moment will go to Janna"

Imam As-Sadiq (pubh) narrates from Rasulullah - "Death is a kaffara (atonement) for the sins of a mu'min"

Rasulullah was once askes, "Who is the cleverest of the mu'mineen?" He replied "The one who remembers death more than the one who has prepared for it"
