MY PERSONAL PRESENTATION

Hi everybody, my name is Jacopo but you can also say Jecky for short, and in this presentation I'm going to introduce myself so that you can get to know me better

Physical description and Personality

I'm a tall and quite thin boy, I have brown eyes and short brown hair. My nose is a bit big and my skin is not very dark, and because of this I never tan much when I go to the seaside. I am short-sighted, so I wear glasses, and I really like it because without them I feel almost naked. My personality is a bit peculiar. I'm a very intelligent and funny boy, but I'm also very sensitive, and many times I get angry easily, but despite this all my friends like me.

MY FAMILY

My family is not very big. My father's name is Alex, he comes from Piedmont, he's an engineer and is 50 years old. His parents are called Piera and Paolo and still live in Piedmont, so every summer I go to visit them for two weeks. My mother's name is Maria Antonietta, she comes from Puglia, she's a laywer and is 56 years old. My mother's mother is called Enza, she is 86 years old and she doesn't live in Puglia anymore. Her husband died when I was two years old, so I have no memoris of him. My mum has a sister and her name is Monica, who is 58 years old and has lived in London for more than 30 years, so whenever I have the chance to visit her I often speak English with her. Even though my family isn't very large, I love my relatives very much.

MY FRIENDS

I have two best friends, their names are Elisabetta and Ginevra, and I met them for the first time at elementary school. We immediately became friends and year after year our friendship has become stronger and stronger. I also attended middle school with them. Now they both attend scientific high school, while I attend language high school, but even if we don't go to the same school we have always remained friends and we have a lot of fun.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

I really like travelling and I've been in many different places, even out of Europe. When I become older I think I will visit the most beautiful places on Earth, even on the other side of the world.

MY HOMETOWN

I live in Imola, a quite large city located near Bologna, in Emilia Romagna. It is very famous for its racetrack, where the grand prix was held last year. This year unfortunately this event did not take place due to a dangerous flood. There is another very important building, the "Rocca Sforzesca", which was built in the 13th century. Besides this, there aren't many interesting things to do, but every year there is the fun fair and so my friends and I go there and have a lot of fun. I live in a large house located in a small alley near Piazza Matteotti, the largest in the city.

MY SCHOOL

I attend "Alessandro da Imola" language high school, and I think it's the best choice I could ever take. I have always been good at languages and I really wanted to study German and improve my English. The building is quite old but there is a really big garden with a basketball camp, and at the end of the school year the teachers often take you out to play. There are two computer classrooms, a not very large gym, a language laboratory, a science laboratory and one great hall.
