The Daily News

The next step officals should take is closing the case. There's no substantial proof that Anna was murdered. At least not enough to hold up a case. It's a tragic case, but we must let go and give the family closure and time to grief.

Autopsy Report

In the case of Anna Garcia, the manner of death was natural since it wasn't murder, suicide, nor accidental. The mechanism of death was due to a ventricular septal defect in her heart, essentialy a hole in the septum of the heart. Anna had to take medications for this defect. Anna began to feel drozzy, this explains why multiple things were knocked over at the scene. After that she fell, hitting her head on the way. We know this because of the blood splatter analyzation. This was the cause of death.

Authorities arrived on the scene 10 minutes after her body was found. The crime scene was cluttered. From numerous blood splatters on the floor, to spilled medication and drinks, a syringe, vomit, knocked over chair, and most importantly Anna's body on the floor face down. We can evidentely say Anna struggled with health issues. According to blood splatter analysis, the blood, which matched up to Anna's, splattered from a standing point angle. She hit her head on something and collapsed. This would explain the knocked-over chair. Furthermore, a flask found on the floor contained fingerprints belonging to Anna. This tells us this was a regular day of Anna's life. She was working normally. However it did not end well.

Garcia, a 20-year-old undergradute, worked part-time at Gentry-Life Science Building, a research lab. On Monday morning at 10:00 am, Garcia was reported dead by Taylor Diaz, a fellow college student. What was behind Anna's death? Many news and social media outlets speculate this incident was an act of murder. Further investigation proves this was rather a nautural death. Therefore, officials should consider deeming this a closed case instead.
